Elizabeth Raposo is President of Production for Paramount Pictures. At Paramount, Raposo works with many of the film industry’s most celebrated filmmakers and talent, while overseeing production on several of the studio’s major franchise titles.
In the last year, Raposo has helped guide Paramount with the production and release of the successful horror film A Quiet Place, the comedy Book Club and the sixth installment in the 24-years-running franchise Mission: Impossible, which garnered the biggest-ever opening weekend for the franchise and has to date earned over $777 million globally.
Next up for the studio is the Transformers spin-off Bumblebee, the Mark Wahlberg comedy Instant Family and the Ang Lee–Will Smith film Gemini Man. In production is Reed Morano’s film Rhythm Section, Pet Sematary adapted from Stephen King’s classic horror novel, and the next chapter in the Terminator franchise in partnership with Skydance Media.

Also of top priority for Raposo and the studio is another Star Trek film to be directed by S.J. Clarkson, as well as expanding the Hasbro Universe. As a senior executive in the creative group at Paramount, Raposo oversaw production on several of the studio’s major franchise titles, including Star Trek, Mission: Impossible, Jack Reacher and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as Interstellar and Super 8.
Prior to working at Paramount Pictures, Raposo was Director of Development for Protozoa Pictures, a New York-based production company founded in 1996 by director Darren Aronofsky. While at Protozoa, she made The Fountain and developed multiple projects including The Wrestler and Black Swan.
