Kira Copperman, LMSW, is the author of Gen-Speak: Communication Strategies for the New Generational Mix at Work and Send/Receive/Confirm. She is a subject matter expert on generational differences at work and has been a generational consultant for Bloomberg, The New York Times, JP Morgan Chase, CBS and many others. She was recently interviewed on the podcast “What Would She Do?,” discussing generations at work. Kira is also an executive coach, facilitator and workplace communication consultant, and Viacom has been one of her favorite clients since 2010. Her other clients include corporations such as American Express, WebMD, ING Americas, AIG, Citigroup and Skadden Arps. Kira’s understanding of human behavior combined with her strong communication and management skills have provided her with specific expertise in improving workplace communication to minimize conflict and maximize productivity. Kira’s research has been featured in national and specialty publications, and a recent study on workplace communication won an award of distinction.
