Colleen Fahey Rush is Executive Vice President of Insights & Audience Science, and Chief Research Officer for Viacom Media Networks. Rush leads the company’s dedicated research teams across Viacom’s portfolio of brands including MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, BET, The Paramount Network, TV Land and CMT. She also leads the central Research & Analytics team, and the Audience Science Group. All these teams support Viacom senior management, as well as brand leadership in marketing, programming, development, ad sales and press to drive ratings and revenue growth. Rush and her teams tap numerous data sources to understand consumer trends and the rapidly evolving media landscape, tracking consumption on TV, VOD, O&O sites and apps, SVOD, and on-the-ground experiences. These teams also have deep knowledge of their target audiences including teens, millennials, Gen X, and African Americans, using a wide array of consumer research metholodogies. She’s a big advocate of our audiences and our brands, and has played a key role in representing Viacom’s industry-leading research efforts at The White House, Congress, Wall Street and countless partner presentations.
