Tara Schuster is Vice President, Talent & Development. She is based in Comedy Central’s Hollywood office and reports to Monika Zielinska, Senior Vice President, Original Programming and Development.

In her role, she serves as Executive-in-Charge of Another Period, entering its third season, and the critically-acclaimed Hood Adjacent with James Davis, which she developed from a Snapchat series. She also oversaw development for the Emmy®- and Peabody Award-winning Key & Peele and the Emmy® Award-winning @midnight with Chris Hardwick during its 600-episode run.

She previously worked as a Digital Producer for Comedy Central, overseeing digital efforts for Key & Peele from the pilot. In that role, she was responsible for the series’ online footprint, which included over four billion views on YouTube. She also produced the viral-sensation segment “Obama’s Anger Translator” and developed the Emmy®-nominated web series

Schuster is also an accomplished author. Her writing has appeared in Thought Catalog, Hello Giggles, and The New Yorker’s Daily Shouts. Her first book, Buy the F**king Lilies: Essays on Self-Care and Getting Better, will be published by Penguin Random House.
