Jordan Ellner is Vice President, Talent & Development. He is based out of Comedy Central’s Hollywood offices and reports to Christian McLaughlin, Senior Vice President, Talent & Development.
In his current role, Ellner oversees high-level casting and celebrity bookings for all Comedy Central series, events and stand-up series. 

He has served as Executive-in-Charge of Production on series and events including Roast Battle, The Comedy Jam and Taskmaster, and he worked as a Talent Producer on the Roast of Rob Lowe and the Roast of Bruce Willis. Ellner is also an Executive-in-Charge of Production on upcoming comedy specials with Trevor Moore and Jon Dore. He works with Anne Harris, SVP, Talent & Development, in jointly overseeing the development and production of Comedy Central’s radio and podcasting programming, and he produces radio programming such as The Bonfire with Jay Oakerson and Dan Soder and the upcoming You Up w/ Nikki Glaser.

Ellner was previously a talent and development executive for Comedy Central’s digital division CC Studios where he developed series that included talent such as The Lucas Bros, Kurt Braunohler, Nick Swardson and Dormtainment. He was also previously the head of MySpace Comedy before joining Comedy Central in 2010. Ellner started in comedy as a door guy at the Comedy Store and eventually earned the coveted status of being made a “paid regular” by Mitzi Shore after 24 painstaking showcases. He performed as a stand-up comedian for over 10 years.
