Ted works with studio leadership at Paramount and Viacom, exploring forms of emerging technologies for next generation entertainment.

Prior to joining Paramount, Ted was the Futurist at 20th Century Fox, where he worked on the evolving art and technology of advanced visual storytelling. Ted was an integral part of the team at the Oscar®-award-winning RED Digital Cinema, as the company’s first employee. Many of the world’s biggest movies are shot with these ultra-high-resolution movie cameras. Ted is one of the founders/creators of the G-Tech product line of advanced hard-drive storage products, one of the most recognized brands in that industry.

Before RED and G-Tech, Ted was on the AJA product engineering team that developed professional video products in tandem with Apple. Ted has been featured in Wired, Variety, The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, The Hollywood Reporter, Variety and many other publications. He has presented on his areas of passion at conferences worldwide.
