As executive producer and co-showrunner of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Jen Flanz oversees the day-to-day creative production of the program and heads a staff of over 100 people. During her 20 years on The Daily Show team, Flanz has played a significant role in producing content for the show’s linear programming and not-so-linear platforms, including both taped and live election coverage; countless Daily Show specials; the 2010 Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear, a live event in Washington D.C.; “Between The Scenes,” the show’s Emmy Award-winning short-form variety series; and The Donald J. Trump Presidential Twitter Library and its corresponding book, as well as “America: The Book” and “Earth: The Book.” Flanz was an instrumental figure during the transition of hosts from Jon Stewart to Trevor Noah and the subsequent rebranding of the show. Her producing roles have won her six Primetime Emmy Awards, and she is a Producers Guild Association 2019 nominee in the Award for Outstanding Producer of Live Entertainment & Talk Television category.
