Shelley Zimmerman is the Co-Head of Awesomeness, a division of Viacom. Awesomeness is a leading media company serving the global Gen Z audience through its film and television studios. Prior to her role as Co-Head, Shelley was the Head of AwesomenessTV Studio where she oversaw development and production of Awesomeness’ original scripted series for the company’s digital, TV and over-the-top subscription VOD services. In her nearly four years at Awesomeness, Shelley has produced numerous popular premium series including Light as a Feather, PEN15, and Emmy-winning series Zac & Mia for Hulu, Foursome for YouTube Premium and Trinkets for Netflix.

Prior to Awesomeness, Shelley served as Senior Vice President of Scripted Programming for Warner Horizon. During her tenure at Warner Horizon, she expanded the studio’s roster of scripted series to a diverse group of networks including the pop-culture phenomenon Pretty Little Liars airing on Freeform, Netflix’s Longmire, TNT’s Dallas and TNT’s Rizzoli and Isles.

Prior to Warner Horizon, she was President of Television Development at Tollin/Robbins Productions, where she produced and developed Smallville, One Tree Hill and What I Like About You.
