Laura Burrell has been a leading figure in driving VIMN’s international format business since 2009, as part of International Program Sales. Laura is responsible for overseeing Viacom International’s extensive portfolio of format titles from its core brands including MTV, Comedy Central and Spike, and for spearheading the international rollout of its hit formats. Leading the international formats team Laura’s work encompasses all aspects of format exploitation, including negotiating deals with third-party broadcasters and producers worldwide, and overseeing the initial production phase to ensure that format adaptations are created to the highest standard. In addition to her work with third parties, Laura also regularly advises and assists VIMN’s local channel networks on upcoming formats opportunities.
