Amy is the Europe Director at Global Citizen. Amy worked for seven years for Amnesty International where she campaigned against human rights violations in Africa, before moving to Save the Children UK where she was Head of Campaigns on the flagship No Child Born to Die campaign. She has worked extensively in Africa, and lived in Uganda for a year while working for Amnesty International. Amy has an MA in History from Edinburgh University and an MA in International Studies and Diplomacy from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies. Amy is a trustee of the Evelyn Trust, which supports medical research and health and well-being projects in Cambridgeshire, UK, and is also a trustee of the Holywood Trust, which aims to help young people in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.
