Adam Mason Robinson was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. After receiving a BA in Film Theory, Adam moved to the Marshall Islands, where his days were spent barefoot, teaching English, painting murals and spear fishing. And, from one island to the next, Adam has now been a New York City resident for just under a decade.
As the Senior Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at Viacom, Adam helps the company do some good in the world — spanning across employee and community engagement to cause marketing and social impact strategy. Most recently, Adam is working to launch “Generation Change,” Viacom’s global campaign which sets out to drive change around the world by elevating and empowering young people everywhere.
Prior to Viacom, Adam served as a communications consultant to nonprofit organizations across the NYC-region, traversed the globe creating branded content with Ogilvy & Mather, and developed co-branded pro-social marketing campaigns at Nickelodeon. He holds an MS in Non-profit Management and sits on the board of several organizations based in NYC including 26x26, a national sports for change initiative, and The Swish Ally Fund, a dedicated group empowering the next generation of allies in the LGBTQ movement. He drinks iced coffee year round, and his favorite thing on earth is the World Cup."
